Lil Wayne: "I'm 53% Nigerian"

Grammy Award winning American rapper, Lil Wayne has revealed that he is 53% Nigerian.

In an interview on "Drink Champ" he disclosed he took a DNA test on to find out his geneology.

 

Lil Wayne said: “Shout out to Nigeria, I did my 23me, kind of like ancestry.com and my shit came back like 53% Nigerian. Yeah, me and my mum need to have a talk!” 

This conversation was his reference to Nigeria he made in his hit song "A milli."

Wayne has previously expressed his wish to visit Nigeria in an interview. This comes on the heels of the slew of Hollywood stars such as Cardi B, Jidenna, Future and Blac Chyna visiting Nigeria last year!
