Serena Williams vs. Bianca Andreescu in US Open

At the Open Final on Saturday at 4pm, Serena Williams and Bianca Andreescu will face off.

Serena Williams who is seeded 8th in the world advanced on Thursday with a win over Elina Svitolina, Number 5 seed.

Bianca Andreescu labored to her 7-6(3), 7-5 victory over Belinda Bencic coming back to win in the last five games.

The face off will be a repeat of last month's Rogers Cup Final won by Andreescu when Williams retired with a back injury.

 

Here's a look at the Open final by the numbers:

23: Grand Slam titles for Serena, who would tie Margaret Court at 24 with a win.

0: Grand Slam titles for Andreescu, who is playing in her maiden Slam final and lost in the first round of U.S. Open qualifying in 2018.

6: U.S. Open titles for Williams. A win would give Serena seven and break a tie with Chrissie Evert.

101: U.S. Open match wins for Serena.
