One individual was killed, and numerous understudies were captured when shooters assaulted Salihu Tanko Islamiyya School in Tegina in Rafi's nearby government space of Niger State on Sunday.

The town is around 11 Kilometers from Kagara town, where shooters stole countless understudies in February 2021.

Although the school owner, Yakubu Idris, revealed to Premium Times that the understudies' quantity of understudies couldn't be found out, media reports guaranteed around 200 understudies were removed.

In April, the state lead representative Abubakar Bello said that Boko Haram contenders had raised banners in around 50 networks.

Bello said the fear mongers were in Kaure and Shiroro Local Government Area and have raised their banner there. He said he dreaded the fear might need to set up a base in the state.

"I'm affirming that there are Boko Haram components in Niger state, around Kaure," Bello said.

"I recently heard that they've as of now lift their banner in Kaure, which means they've assumed control over the domain and this is the thing that I have been drawing in the government with and lamentably it has now gotten to this stage that if care isn't taken not even Abuja is protected."

While mourning the security challenges in the state, Bello communicated worry over how the spouses of local people have been taking over by Boko Haram individuals.

"They've assumed control over the domain; they've introduced their banner. I'm affirming that at this point. They've assumed control over the spouses of individuals forcibly", he said.

"Boko Haram components are attempting to utilize these regions as their home very much as they did in Sambisa."
