Nigerian Players and this Week's Champions League!

ON TUESDAY: Nigerian strikers Peter Olayinka and Victor Osimhen outshone the other Nigerian players competing in the Champions League in the games on Tuesday, 17th September.

Peter Olayinka (Inter Milan 1 Vs 1 Slavia Prague)

Nigerian striker Peter Olayinka scored for Slavia Prague in the 63rd minute. Inter Milan were able to equalize in time to share the points.

Olayinka, however was the star of the game, able to challenge the Inter Milan defence. 

Victor Osimhen (Ajax 3 Vs 0 Lille) 

Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, in his debut match, played well but could not score.  

Paul Onuachu (Red Bull Salzburg 6 Vs 2 Genk)

Nigerian Striker Paul Onuachu was the only Nigerian player on the field, with his compatriat, Stephen Odey absent.

Onuachu was brought onto the field half way into the second half but had minimal ball contact.
