Eid al-Fitr Celebrations Cancelled this Year?

Muslims world wide have been cautioned to pray home instead of visiting mosques this year in celebration of Eid al-Fitr. Celebrants are also advised to only share gifts and food with members of their households.

Virtual gathertings on platforms such as Skype and Zoom are recommended for streaming religious sermons and connecting with loved ones to mark the celebration.

Though these are tough and unprecedented times, safety should be the number one priority.

Members of all faiths are encouraged to pray for these times to pass soon, and also to pray for the health of essential and frontline workers woldwide.
