Six times Buhari travelled to the UK for medical attention

Nearly two years after his last private excursion to the United Kingdom, President Muhammad Buhari will be flying out of Nigeria on a clinical outing to London for the sixth time in six years.

Official representative Garba Shehu said Buhari would leave for London, the United Kingdom, on Tuesday for regular clinical registration and back in the country during the second seven-day stretch of April.

Buhari's last clinical outing to the UK was in April 2018. Be that as it may, he was in the country in April 2019 on what the Presidency was a private excursion. The pandemic may have kept him from going out of the country all through 2020.

Here are the multiple times Buhari has been to the UK on a clinical outing.

On June 6, 2016, Buhari left Nigeria for his first clinical excursion. The president was away on a 10-day clinical expedition to London to treat ear contamination. He expanded his outing by three days to rest. He got back from that venture on June 19, 2016.

On January 19, 2017, the president made a trip to the United Kingdom on clinical leave and returned on March 10, after 51 days out of the country.

On May 8, 2017, Buhari ventured out to the United Kingdom for clinical consideration and stayed there till August 19, 2017, going through 104 days, a record that outperformed that of the late President Umaru Yar'Adua.

On September 21, 2017, he traveled from the US to the UK for clinical purposes and got back to Abuja on September 25, 2017.

Four days after getting back to Nigeria from the United States, where he met with Former President Donald Trump, Buhari got back to the UK for clinical reasons on May 8, 2018. He got back to Nigeria on May 11.
