COVID-19: Nigeria Update

As of 23rd August 2021, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has reported 565 new cases of Covid-19 in Nigeria. The figures are as follows:

Today’s report includes:

A backlog of cases from Benue state reported on the 17th (7), 18th (1) and 19th (4) of August 2021

Seven states with zero cases reported: Cross River, Gombe, Kaduna, Kano, Nasarawa, Plateau and Sokoto
