Six youngsters have been dreaded slaughtered following a blast in Magami town in Maradun Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
The state's Commissioner for Security and Home Affairs Abubakar Dauran said the casualties went to the shrubbery looking for kindling when they picked a dangerous device.
Dauran said the children started to play with it, and soon after, it detonated.
While six were murdered immediately, others were left with different levels of wounds.
The individuals who supported wounds were promptly hurried to a clinic in Gusau, the state capital, for clinical consideration.
Dauran said he later got data that one individual among the casualties that were hospitalized likewise passed on.
He said the state had set up measures to forestall future events of such.
